MORE ABOUT

Coaching

Coaching is a journey- the change can come impetuously and without warning, but it is still a journey and time and grace are important. Flow is important. Embodiment is important. Not just the time of the session but the time in-between. In Coaching there is homework that is decided with the client and accountability is the name of the game. We are held accountable, and the magic is exactly there! In staying accountable. In being held.

If you are thinking about working with a coach, one of the first questions that might cross your mind is What exactly is coaching? Good Question.

The first coaching program I undertook taught us that coaching is being witnessed, its being seen, and its finding courage. The coach mirrors the client. The mirror is the key! The client and the coach are on the same level and the coach does nothing more than support the client to bring out into the conscious sphere that which is already inside of them. Their wholeness. For example a common question in coaching is: what have your resources been in the past? We have many more than we think. In other words, often we forget.

There is nothing greater and more powerful than having a purpose, than knowing what our purpose is, and living that purpose every single day. And the same is true for the opposite. Floating around, seemingly unsure of where we are going or what we are doing. The crazy and profoundly true fact is, this can change. It’s a process, but entirely possible. The words that I’ve always lived by even when I wasn’t so sure of what I was doing, “the only way out is thorough.” I believe this in my bones.

At a certain part of our lives integrating all of our parts is really the only way to freedom. I support people in this process. In feeling free in their own lives.
